The Montgomery County Board of Elections will hold an educational presentation on the voting process using the new electronic voting system on Thursday, October 9th at 5 pm at the GFWC-Century Club at 130 Guy Park Avenue. This presentation is open to the public and free. Coffee and cookies will be served. The Commissioners will discuss registering to vote, marking and casting a ballot, and voting by absentee ballot. Their intent is to reach as many of the voting public as possible. Election Day is Tuesday, November 4th. The GFWC-Century Club will hold their monthly meeting after the presentation. There will be a light supper for members at 6 pm and the business meeting will begin at 6:30. Members are reminded to bring in their RADA cutlery orders and to wear purple for Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
