The NFL should be more hardcore when it comes to calling a pass-completed, and keeping the ball in play. For example, if you catch a pass, mid-air, out of bounds, but toss the ball back into a player in bounds. The balls is considered to still be in play. So I say. If you have catch the ball, not counting steps taken, but catch the ball, and move it from a catch position, to a carry position, that should count as a completed pass, whether you drop the ball right after (whether do to your horrible grip, or a strip attempt) and that ball should still be in play. So if he were to loose possession of the ball before hitting the ground. That should be counted as a fumble. Because its not an incomplete pass, in my opinion. what do you think Brian.
