The NFL will consider this offseason eliminating extra point attempts. Teams would get 7 points for a TD but could try for 2 to make that 8 (if unsuccessful they would get 6 points like it is now). Essentially all thats done is making the extra point automatic which it already practically is. This would also benefit Madden by saving some time from having to run those pointless plays and improving the flow of the games. What do you think of the proposal to get rid of extra point attempts?
