The National Allied Golf Associations (NAGA) is once again - TopicsExpress

The National Allied Golf Associations (NAGA) is once again measuring the economic impact of golf on each Province and for Canada as a whole. With the input that you and other golf course operators provide, the study will effectively measure the direct and spin-off economic effects of golf in Canada. NAGA has hired Strategic Networks Group (SNG) to update and extend the work they did to produce the 2009 economic impact analysis for golf in Canada. When this study was conducted for the first time in 2009, courses from across Canada provided valuable insights that the NAGA partners were able to use in their work to promote the business, employment, charitable, environmental and tourism benefits generated by the game of golf in Canada. The results from this updated Economic Impact Study will again be used to further our understanding of golf’s impact on both the Canadian and provincial economies. As with the 2009 study that was conducted, a critical aspect of this Economic Impact Study involves collecting expenditure data directly from golf facility operators across Canada. As a Canadian golf facility operator your participation is extremely important! As part of this revised study, NAGA would like to know some key financial information related to your golf operations over the last 12 months (2013 season). Due to the nature of the information being requested, this survey is intended to be completed by someone from the course management team or the course owner. All responses will be treated as confidential and combined with others and assessed for Canadian and provincial trends. To facilitate gathering this information, we invite you to complete the online questionnaire at: sngroup.co1.qualtrics/WRQualtricsSurveyEngine/?Q_SS=40k3KxXishAywn3_02iymEPQUouOnmB&_=1 We request that you complete this questionnaire and submit your responses no later than midnight on November 30, 2013. You may select French or English language preference for completing this online questionnaire. We appreciate your time in providing us with this valuable information. The questionnaire should take approximately 30 minutes to complete. As an incentive for your participation, NAGA has offered a 2014 RBC CANADIAN OPEN GETAWAY. The Getaway is a weekend for two, from anywhere in Canada, to the 2014 RBC Canadian Open at The Royal Montreal Golf Club in Ile Bizard, Que., July 26-27, 2014. The prize includes airfare for two (2), three (3) nights shared accommodations, a three (3) day car rental, and two weekly badges for the RBC Canadian Open with a total estimated value of $2,000. Winners will be contacted by phone following the draw. Winners must agree to have their names and photo published as part of the prize award announcement notice. Only those who complete the survey will be eligible to be entered in the random draw. The key findings from this study will be shared through our member organizations. If you have any questions on this study please contact us. Best regards and many thanks, National Allied Golf Associations (NAGA) Jeff Calderwood NAGA Chair; CEO, National Golf Course Owners Association Canada (NGCOA Canada)
