The National Highway Transportation Safety Administration recently waived Buy America grant money regulations to allow the state of Michigan to purchase Suzuki TU-250 motorcycles. These lightweight bikes will be used as training motorcycles, since no appropriate machines of American manufacture could be found. We think an affordable, quality, American-made entry level motorcycle would be a wonderful thing. Who might build such a bike and what would it be like?
