The National Water Commission (NWC) wishes to apologise to customers served by the Dornoch Treatment Plant in Trelawny, who continue to experience a disruption in their water supply due to urgent maintenance work being carried out at the facility. The agency had previously advised that water would have been restored by Friday November 8, 2013, however, further challenges has made the scheduled deadline unattainable. In the interim, we will continue to truck water to the affected communities and assure our customers that every effort is being made to restore water by Tuesday, November 12, 2013. Affected areas include: Rio Bueno, Calabar, Brompton, Jackson Town, Samuel Prospect, Vale Royal, Hatfield, Farm Town, Arcadia, Grove and Middlemost. The NWC apologises for the inconvenience this disruption has caused and craves the continued patience and cooperation of its valued customers.
