Santa Rosa County in northwest Florida... southern Baldwin County in southwest Alabama... southern Mobile County in southwest Alabama... * until 1215 PM CDT * at 915 am CDT...areas of showers and thunderstorms are slowly moving across coastal portions of Alabama and northwest Florida. These storms are producing 1 to 2 inch hourly rainfall totals with localized areas seeing totals as high as 3 inches per hour. Given the recent heavy rains...this additional rainfall will likely result in minor flooding of poor drainage and low lying areas and ponding of water on roadways. The area will also be monitored for potential flash flood warnings. * Locations impacted include... Pensacola... Dauphin Island... Fairhope... Gulf Shores... Crestview... midway... Destin...
