The New covenant ended the old covenant (You believe it, or not: TRUTH is always TRUE): When the Jesus died on the Cross two things happened: 1) the Old Covenant ended (What was Made with Abraham, renewed with Moses, and promised to David), and 2) the New Covenant starts. The pre-existent Yeshua, Yahweh/LORD made the old covenant and when He died the old one ended. And as he promised through the Old covenant and through His prophets, especially through Jeremiah (31:31-34) Jesus became the New Covenant through His own blood on His death. So until He died the New Covenant did not exist. Also when He died the old ended forever. Then the old covenant became a history to know how the new covenant came to end the old covenant. The people in OT was lost because of the burden of the legal codes of the old covenant as a way to welcome the New Covenant (Romans 11:32). Can a wise man still want to keep the old covenant? The people were lost under the old covenant; that’s why, Yahweh incarnated as Yeshua to become New Covenant to save us from our sin forever to be filled with the indwelling Holy Spirit to empower us to live like God’s children. Now if you wants to keep the old (even the Old Testament people did not able to keep, none of them, except Jesus) you cannot get the new covenant, means you cannot wash your sin through the blood of Jesus to be filled with the Holy Spirit. They old covenant keepers (even the high Priest) did not washed by the blood of Jesus then it was not a question for him to be filled with the Holy Spirit. The old covenant lovers still have the same problem. That’s why they maybe love Jesus, but do not love to be filled with the Holy Spirit because they hate the tongues of the Holy Spirit as an initial proof to be filled with the Holy Spirit. The New Covenant did not have legal codes like the old one got, because the indwelling Holy Spirit became the code of the New Covenant in the heart of the people as God told in Jeremiah 31:33. How can you receive the New Covenant to be born again as Jesus said in John 3:3, 5? 1. Forget the old covenant and all its legal codes, and start to believe Jesus only who is the New Covenant and the Holy Spirit is the legal code of the New Covenant. 2. Repent and confess all your sins to receive Jesus as your LORD, Savior, and King by washing all your sins through His blood. 3. Receive the fullness of Holy Spirit (be filled with the Holy Spirit) to be born again to enter into Heaven (John 3:3, 5). 4. Live with confidence through the power and help of the indwelling Holy Spirit (continuous legal counseling to spend every moment of your life). Now the LORD/Yahweh is the Spirit and wherever is the Spirit of the LORD there is complete freedom (2 Cor. 3:17).
