The Next Step Shelter Campaign Last night we announced the launch of O.S.C.A.R.s “The Next Step” Shelter Campaign. It’s mission is to raise enough funds to turn a local building into a rescue facility equipped with a minimum of 28 dog kennels and 12 cattery cages. Our goal is to raise $500,000. These funds will be raised through a combination of volunteer-led fundraising events as well as paid sponsorships. The sooner we raise the funds, the faster we can start saving more lives. We added a page to our website for the campaign. This page includes a conceptual blueprint of the place we will one day call home as well as a list of all sponsorship opportunities and “Sponsorship Form”. We will be holding various fundraising events over the coming months and we will be happy to work with you in coordinating your involvement with these events. Every dollar helps get us closer to our goal. Tonight was a very special night for us. We got to share the wonderful news about Dottie’s adoption.
