I think in certain matters of his administration, apart from the massive corruption matters bewildered in his country which Im not surprised at all Nigeria is Nigeria, and ours Ghana is seriously seeking to overtake the (Nigeria) when it come to corruption, he is more decisive than ours; President John Mahama. He hires and fires without fear or favor when any of his Minsters and appointee misconduct him/herself in office. I also, however, also think that our Parliament as an institution is very weak. Theyre unable to bite well especially on public & civil services accountability and political corruption which we witness everyday. In the financial for the World Cup, The United States has budgeted for about 2M, and for Nigeria 9.5M, is onheard off so the Sports minister had been sacked by President Goodluck Jonathan. In Ghana 20M is said to be the budget and all including the Parliamentarians and The President think its right even in this period where theres so much poverty in the country. But having mentioned the above, however, sometimes I dont understand why some of our so-called development partners especially the USA continue to help us financially when they well know that our leaders take delight in massive corruption against its people. Our budget for the world cup is a total corruption and the President must wake up and begin to ask questions. The Sports Ministry must answer why such huge amount.
