The Old Cowboy is going to give up on Facebook and this day. I am pleased that most here had time with loved ones. That did not happen here, I spent today alone, no visitors, no invitations to go any where and I had one telephone call from my good friend Sandy Rockwood in Omaha, Nebraska. I totally enjoyed and appreciated the kind words and greetings from my Facebook Friends. Some just sent blind normal seasonal remarks and I ignored them. The bright spot that put a grin on my face came from my neighbors five kids. When I got back today from picking up yesterdays mail they met me on the sidewalk to show me their Christmas gifts. I got hugs from all five and the three youngest even told me, I love you. I was reminded of the Oak Ridge Boys 1982 recording of Eddy Ravens Thank God for Kids. ttps://youtube/watch?v=TPN4gXBL1JA
