The Ole Guys Shop has finally got its First Pissed off Customer in the 3 years Ive been working . I was so upset I forgot to bring home my camera to show you how it looked when it was finished . The guy and some female shows up and were dissatisfied with the body work & paint job right from the start . This used car salesman Jewed me down to doing this bent up jeep for $1500 including paint - I was under the understanding he was short term Terminally sick and it was just a quick cheap paint job the make it look better . The major gripe was that while the clear was drying it dulled up and got orange peel and there were some fish eyes down lower on the passenger side . Now I spent over $600 in materials and 2 solid weeks trying to straighten out this rolled over bent up Jeep and of coarse everything was a hassle doing this job . When I painted it - it fished eyed all over the intire jeep - about 10,000 fish eyes everywhere and the clear wrinkled up and etched the metalic . So I wet sanded down the intire jeep and had Bobby repaint & Clear the thing in a booth for me and the clear tried to etch up and dulled up some again . Now the body work in one area isnt the greatest in one area and there is a few fish eyes down bellow but if it were wet sanded lightly and buffed it would look like a $4000 or $5000 paint job but he wasnt paying me to do that - I only got $1400 for everything and the guy aint dieing either - it was all BS . Eh Ill get slammed for that job and thats that - what can I say !
