The Orthodox Community of New Zealand has been prodigously blessed - TopicsExpress

The Orthodox Community of New Zealand has been prodigously blessed in recent weeks to have our Metropolitan Amphilohios presiding over the Divine Liturgy in so many of our parishes. Today he was with us at the beautiful Monastery of the Holy Archangels in Levin. The temple was full, with the congregation including those who had travelled from as far as Wellington and Wanganui in order to come together on this bright, sunny and joyous day to celebrate The Divine Liturgy, and also to receive the Blessing of His Eminence. We were also blessed to have His Eminence speak to us about todays Gospel reading, in which he explained the parable of the seeds. He stressed that in order for us to blossom and grow we need Gods word - which we get from the Church and from our parents and grandparents. He urged us all, therefore, to bring our children and grandchildren to Church.
