"The Oxford University Press has announced an English short story writing competition. The winners will get published in a book that will be launched at the Karachi Literature Festival 2014. The stories must be written on the following topics: The meaning of me, Because this is what matters, Paved and unpaved ways, and The bravest place on earth." "All short stories must be written by Pakistanis in English. They should not be more than 2,000 words. They may be typed or hand-written clearly. All authors must include their name, address, phone numbers and e-mail addresses." "A story may be disqualified; if it is irrelevant to the topic, there are multiple entries by the same author, it is an essay or a poem, it is not the author’s original work, it exceeds the word limit or the contact details are incomplete. The last date for the entries is July 31."
