The PA DoE is currently interviewing schools that will pilot a program for an early-literacy intervention program for students with dyslexia and language-based disabilities. There is a total of six (6) schools to be chosen to pilot a three-year program that will screen kindergartners for the learning disability and provide a multisensory approach to teaching students phonemes. One possible district of interest in the Pen Argyl Area SD. According to the Pennsylvania DoE, all chosen SDs will be announced on 12/5/14.
