The PF administration and the all too powerful government machinery has managed to drive the nation of Zambia on a path of suspicion, rumor mongering and unending innuendo. Ofcourse Im taliking about the Presidents health status and most importantly, his where abouts. Zambians by now are used to not being addressed and engaged by the President who they voted into power in 2011. The man they voted for was visible, approachable, vibrant, aggressive, vocal and energetic. He was nabbed as a, Mr Action Man. He was a formidable force to reckon with all the time he was an opposition leader and gave the then sitting government sleepless nights. He is now president and the rules of the game have suddenly changed. He has not directly addressed the people that voted for him in two and a half years. He goes out of the country without goodbye and comes back without so much as a hello. The information gap or vacuum, if you like, has festered ANXIETY, CURIOSITY, RUMORS and INNUENDO from well meaning electorates that voted for the President in record numbers back in 2011. Zambians are not new to death and funerals on a national level. Zambians lost their beloved national team, a sitting president and a well liked former president. When Zambians ask, Where is our President? Please remember that theyre asking from a place of great concern and consternation, not that they wish their president dead! This hide and seek game between State House and the Citizens of Zambia should come to an end. Long live His Excellency Michael Chilufya Sata. Zambians love you. Te ma setting.....
