The Pacific Highway is closed in both directions at Tyndale due to a serious car and truck accident. *Tyndale is between Grafton and Maclean on the states North Coast. Northbound motorists are being diverted onto The Summerland Way at Grafton to travel to Casino and then take the Bruxner Highway through Lismore to Ballina to rejoin the Pacific Highway. Southbound motorists are being diverted onto the Bruxner Highway at Ballina to travel to Casino and then take The Summerland Way to Grafton to rejoin the Pacific Highway. Motorists are advised to avoid the area or consider delaying their journey, otherwise allow plenty of extra travel time and expect significant delays along the diversion route.
