The Palestinian issue suffered a decline in the regional media with the onset of the #Arab uprisings. Indeed, many believed that the issue had been consigned to the history books and would disappear, submerged by the chaos affecting Arab countries. There are those who were very happy to see such a decline because it freed them from their responsibility and offered peace of mind.
