She could not decide whether to feel awkward or excited. Eric helps Amber get in the truck. And off they go to pick up the flowers. While they were in the pickup truck, Eric seems comfortable driving next to Amber. Amber notices it. She takes a glance here and there to study Erics face, when Eric turns to her, she is suddenly looking the other way pretending shes looking around inside the truck. The truck is probably not even two years old. Its a Ford pick-up truck and it has a leather seat inside. The leather color of the seats and dashboard is ivory. The other chromes inside are silver plated. They have been driving for a while now. They have passed by some farms and some small towns. Amber loves the farm because its quieter and calm than living in the city. She was kinda getting bored without doing something. She notices a radio inside the pickup truck. Eric notices shes looking at it. Are you comfortable? Asks Eric. Yes. Thank you for driving. No problem at all and your welcome. Is this truck yours? No. I borrowed it from a friend of mine. And since we are picking up some flowers, I thought I should use this instead. She smiled to Eric and he turns to focus his eyes on the road. You can play music if you want to. No, its okay. Cmon, its okay. Here I will turn it on. When Eric turns it on, the music started to play Because of You by Tony Bennett. No one is looking at each other the moment the music played. Then when all of a sudden, she hears Erics voice singing along to the music. She has started to laugh a little bit. Whats funny? Eric asks while smiling. You. Me? Yes. Are you sure Im being funny? Amber tried to ignore his last question, but Eric asks her one more time again. Do you think its funny? Eric asks, then he stops the car. Why did you stop? Amber? What is it? We are here. Amber looks around and felt embarrassed for not paying attention.She did not realize they have reached the place. Eric is looking at her steadily. What? Asks Amber. About being funny? What about it? I was not being funny. Im being serious. I dont know what youre saying. Eric smiled just slightly. There is something about the way Amber looks at him and he likes it. As soon as they walk in the green house, Eric started to use his camera. He took pictures of roses, lilies, orchids, and other flowers he can see. Amber is busy gathering some flowers and Eric watches her as she picks through the flowers. He tries to take pictures of Amber and happy to watch her enjoying her time. Amber sees him take a picture of her and she smiles as she poses while holding some roses. Eric like what he sees. Amber is looking straight back to Eric and smiling at the same time. When Amber tries to turn she almost tripped and it was a good thing Eric is standing right beside her. He caught her in his arms and they both gaze at each other. Amber can feel Eric arms, making her feel secure. Are you okay? Y-yes... I am. You almost fall to the ground. I would hate to see that. Im okay. Why dont I take those flowers and we can both pick flowers. Thank you. They walk around inside the greenhouse and look around for more flowers. Eric is really enjoying watching Amber. Every time Amber picks the flowers, she hands it to Eric. But the next time she hands the flower, their fingers touch. It brought a warm feeling to both of them. When they were about to get out of the first greenhouse, one lady thought they were husband and wives. Oh, your husband is so nice to come along with you. Amber felt embarrassed after hearing it, knowing Eric is just right beside her. Well, I have to be with her at all times before someone takes her away from me. Joked Eric to the lady then blinks to Amber. As soon as the lady went inside the greenhouse, Amber couldnt help but ask Eric about what just happened. Why did you say those words? Which one? The part where you acknowledge youre my husband. You dont suppose to make the lady feel embarrassed about what she just asked? Im embarrassed. At least thats between you and me. Youre kidding, right? No. I can go along with it. Eric went in the second greenhouse, while Amber still standing outside. She could not believe Eric. Her and Eric? Husband and wife? She storms insides the greenhouse and confronts Eric. Eric! Yes? Replies Eric while busy looking for some flowers. You honestly want me to think youre my husband? Eric suddenly realizes Amber is not letting this go. So he faces Amber and asks. Why Im not good enough to be part of you? Huh? Yes, thats exactly what I just said. Says Eric while closing into Amber. E-Eric, youre getting too close to me. You dont like it? Erics eyes are fixed on her her eyes. Amber could not say anything. She did not feel mad or disappointed. Her heart is beating so fast. Eric looks at Ambers lips and the next thing happens, their lips touch. Amber did not oppose, but rather welcome his kiss to her lips. Shes responding to his kisses. Erics arms is around her and her arms is wrap on his shoulder. Their kiss last for a while. After the kiss, they both look at each other, not saying anything. They kept looking at each other the rest of their flower picking. When everything was packed, they head back to their pickup truck. Inside the truck, At first, Eric did not start the truck yet.
