But he chose this way - into the world at a difficult time, in difficult circumstances, as a helpless baby who needed to be cared for by parents who were vulnerable to many weaknesses. Still, despite the challenges that lay ahead and the profound mystery that surrounded them, Joseph and Mary - with all the other people around them - were captivated by the great joy of that new child. The sincere and true love is something that is our God. He is our source of love. (Hebrews 1:14). Make no mistake about it: the angels are actively involved in the lives of Gods people and in the affairs of men in general. One thing about the presence of angels in our lives that we can not be aware of is that they do their job properly. Angels usually operate undercover. Their world is full of powerful, intelligent spiritual beings. Angels are invisible and remains so for most of the time, except for some very rare occasions. In Scripture we see that God sometimes wears angels in human form. Angels are secret agents of God. Do not call attention to themselves but make the service of God. They have a job and specific ministry in the life of the Christian. This certainly gives us hope in these troubled and dangerous times in which we live. When we think of so much violence, chaos and danger there is in the world today, it is comforting to know that Gods angels are watching us. Angels can not help you find a parking spot, but know that they are secret agents of God, powerful and effective in doing the work He has called them to do. With few exceptions, all of Psalm 119 verses mention the same subject, the Word of God, but with different names, such as law, precepts, commandments, statutes, and other witnesses. Such expressions treat the Word in its entirety: express its reliability, serve to give precise instructions, reveal their stay, show your authority, finally, serve as a standard to humans. This emphasis does not make this superficial or repetitive psalm, but makes it even more profound and complete, because it presents the diversity of thought with regard to the Word and shows the greatness of the Lord in contrast to the limitations of being human. There is no doubt that the author of this psalm was delighted with the Word and assimilated precisely his teachings. To understand in depth this message is needed to engage seriously in their study. Theres nothing away from the Lord who, with sincerity, study his Word. In times of struggle is the assurance of eternal existence of the Word that gives conviction to remain true to his teachings. Those who intend to study it become convinced of its reality and the Lords faithfulness in the fulfillment of what is written in it. It is by believing in the truth of the Word that the Psalmist, although passed through times of persecution, could have the strength to pursue its goal of keeping these statutes. The psalmist knows that all that exists, whether nature or human beings, will disappear after a certain time, but the same will not happen with the Word of the Lord, for this will remain forever. God has much to tell us!
