The Pine Mountain Logs - I Want You Back - FROM NEW CONCERT DVD LIVE & ON FIRE Released on Youtube 2014.09.07 :) At long last, after 25+ years as a not-so-secret side project, Venices cover band alter egos, The Pine Mountain Logs, are proud to announce their very first release, a 142 minute concert DVD, The Pine Mountain Logs - Live & On Fire. Part rock & roll party and part comedy act, this is the Logs at their best, melding Venices impressive musicianship and vocals with unpredictable medleys and mashups, spot on impersonations, and a wild anything can happen vibe. The energy sustains throughout the almost two and a half hour show -- There isnt an acoustic guitar in sight! The DVD was a true labor of love. All of the footage was shot by fan volunteers, a mixture of both professional and amateur. The video was directed and edited by Venices webmaster and Facebook administrator (and professional Hollywood editor by day), Matt Levitz. And the music was recorded, mixed and produced by the bands own Michael Lennon. Live & On Fire is available exclusively through Venices webpage, venicetheband.
