The Pivot Press provides the correct amount of range of motion than the Leg press ( the leg press is also a great leg machine). The Pivot Press hits the bottom of its range before your lower back comes off the bench. Let me back up a bit...we performed 20 minutes on the stairs (low intensity steady state, LISS) for 20 minutes 70% heart rate max, then performed an interval of body squats and Leg extension. We headed to the Smith Machine to rep out our squats. We performed a few sets of Hack Squats and now we are at the Pivot Press.
