Job Title : Audit Associate Function : KRC Audit Location : Gurgaon >> Department Description A fast growing team that is servicing KPMG’s European audit clients and few other countries. The majority of our work is for the UK audit practice, but we are also serving KPMG - Holland, Cayman Island, Channel Island, Australia and Bermuda. We are looking at ways of growing the number of countries we serve. We are currently about 450 in size and aim to be 600 + strong team in six months. >> ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES · Reviewing financial statements of UK based companies for compliance with legislative and accounting standards, mathematical accuracy and consistency · Conversion of UK financial statements into the iXBRL language using a tagging tool (IFRS training will be provided) >> THE INDIVIDUAL · Strong English language and communication skills · Intermediate level in MicroSoft Word and MicroSoft Excel · Book-keeping experience would be benefical but not essential · Proficiency/Working knowledge of Adobe Professional would be an added advantage · 0 – 1 year experience · Bachelors Degree in Commerce / Degree or Diploma in Finance or Accounting >> SELECTION PROCESS · Candidates should expect minimum 3 rounds of personal interviews/group discussion to assess clarity on concepts, communication skills and attitude >> COMPENSATION · Annual CTC – INR 260000/- PA + Bonus
