The Powell shooting ... Dont know what to call this other than what most see - an EXECUTION. EVERYONE NEEDS TO BE TALKING ABOUT THIS AND PROTESTING AND GOING ABOUT THE BUSINESS OF CHANGE! This kind of cop is what we call a thug and should not be on the police force. Its up to the taxpayers and voters to get these thugs off your streets or the alternative is to keep watching your brothers, fathers, sons, and friends die at the hands of these thugs. If you observed closely, no one on the street felt threatened by this man. People walked near him and by him without fear. THE POLICE ARRIVED. WHY DIDNT THEY STAY IN THE CAR TO DECIDE A NON-LETHAL COURSE OF ACTION? THATS BECAUSE THEY HAD ALREADY DECIDED THE COURSE OF ACTION AND EXITED THEIR VEHICLE, WITH GUNS DRAWN READY TO ENGAGE AND SHOOT. AND SHOOT THEY DID You never want people who dont live in or around your community to police you. They dont know you, or understand your culture, and they dont have a vested interest in your political, economic, and mental survival. You, the voter and taxpayer, should decide what kind of security force you want. You get to choose through the laws you create. Its time! Next, create by (lottery or vote) a totally independent citizens review board under the purview of the Department of Justice (to oversee the safety forces and public officials and political appointees) IT MUST BE DONE!
