The Quad copter from E-flight is TOUGH! In this video, I am trying to get some close up R/C action of the 8-ebuggy class with my 350 QX2 quad-copter. Right over our big triple jump, I have some overhead wires to avoid (I hit them last week and crashed!). During warm up, I fly under the wires, get a little too low and Ka-BOOM, my brother Mark Calandra takes me out of the air like a patriot missile. Another hard crash, but all is well and back flying again! Lets tally up all the mishaps; 1 - Hit overhead wires, drop 20 feet, no damage, flies again. 2 - Flew over to the neighbors land, he pulled out a 12 gauge shot gun and luckily missed, flies again 3 - Low overhead aerial photos during the e-buggy warm up, SMASH in the air with an 8-E 3.0. Flew again later that night (did rip the lander gear off, but not broke). Lets see what I can break today.
