The *Real Deal*. 1940s Mexican tooled slingback platforms, size 7 - 7.5 (tops). Not just tooled, but *tooled with freaking ACORNS & OAK LEAVES*. Super supple leather, with equally supple leather lining & insole. Yum. Were deadstock when I bought them. I had Vibram rubber soles put on the front, left the original Neolite heel tips. Still have never been worn... but: the first time I went to wear them, I snapped the outside layer of the slingback at a weak point in the tooling. Lining was completely fine, and I had the outside repaired. Not particularly noticeable, but forced me to admit they are simply too small for me. (For reference, Im an 8. Could put em on easy peasy with stockings - not barefoot - but clearly, they need a bit smaller foot than an 8.) Other than the repair, completely perfect. Priced as-is, with true sadness. Length: 9.5 Width: 3 1/8 Platform: 3/4 Heel: 4.5 Asking $95 as is (+ $10 shipping in US, $20 international)
