The Republican Party no longer understands what conservative means, and is continuing to be hijacked by individuals who are detrimental to our country. Pending the next couple months I will watch how the GOP Senate Majority handles Congress and who throws their name into the ring for President, and pending what happens, I will probably be switching parties. I have continued to remain involved to bring some reason to this party, but on a national level and within my own state, they continue to go deeper into the rabbit hole, and I will not continue to remain involved with a party that ignores elementary science, pushes a certain religion above all others, and tries to deny basic civil rights to people because of their life-style. There is no conservative in the party anymore, there is no more small government, and above all, those elected do not act they way their deity encourages them to. Whatever I chose to do, I will choose to either switch back or remain if this party becomes responsible again. I will continue to be a small-government individual for my party does not define me, but I will no longer allow myself to suffer from the hateful label the Republican Party has created for itself.
