The Republican Party sent me a 2016 Presidential Platform Survey....so I told the party how disappointed I was with it and also reminded the GOP that it is the party of Lincoln and better start acting like it. There was a time when the GOP wasnt just the party that hates everything but was actually the Optimistic, Idealistic Party. The Party that freed the slaves, created landmark Civil Rights bills. The party that fought corruption and stopped monopolies. The party that actually cared and watched out for the average person. I dont know when it turned away from all that but thats when it lost me......the low taxes thing is kinda nice though.
