The Republicans hate unions and keep on using the same old rhetoric. The union bosses live the high life while the workers pay dues for nothing. You already benefit in so many ways from what unions have fought for - 40 hour work weeks, minimum wage, maternity and paternity leave, child labor laws, safe workplaces; etc. If you dont want to pay union dues, then you should not benefit from the rights and privileges unions bargained for. Corporate CEOs, with their golden parachutes and obscene salaries and bonuses are hurting the poor and middle classes. Dont tell me their huge salaries and bonuses are performance based, either. Many of them left companies with a failed record and still got paid handsomely. They just dont get that if you get rid of the middle class, who will buy their goods?
