The Research Award is granted to a research project or research article that investigates or reviews a current two-year college issue and provides insight into factors that will improve or enhance student learning or development. A monetary prize of $500 USD will be issued to the recipient of the Commission’s Research Award. Award recipients may be graduate students, practitioners, or college and university faculty members. The recipient must agree to submit his/her research results to the Commission for Student Development in the Two-Year College to be published in a future edition of ACPA’s quarterly publication, Developments.
