The Russ Tippins Electric band journey started in 2009 and in that time they have produced 2 highly acclaimed albums, they have played all the major blues festivals in the uk more than once, inc Hebden Bridge Blues Festival Maryport, and Clone, They stormed Stormin the castle, and opened doors in europe with their first trip. they have played major venues in scotland and england and have gained a reputation as the best north east band on the rock circuit. the band members have raised the bar when it comes to live performances which resulted in nominations for best british bass player and drummer in the british blues awards.
