The Russell Township Board of Trustees and the township fiscal officer will host a public meeting at 7 p.m. July 24 in the Russell Town Hall to educate Russell residents on the current state of the township finances. Townships and other local governments are experiencing a considerable decrease in revenue from the State of Ohio. Residents are urged to come learn how Russell Township proposes to lead with less, succeed in the face of budget cutbacks, and continue to support the community. The Town Hall is located at the intersection of Kinsman Road (S.R. 87) and Chillicothe Road (S.R. 306.) Two more public information sessions will be held before the November election.
