The Rusteans then got busy decorating the house for Santa, this year we decided to do red, green & gold & more paired back. Santa seemed to like it. No presents this year what more do we need than each other & getting my visa was the best present. This year was also the first year we volunteered for Swindon Christmas Care with the homeless & less fortunate. They must have liked us as we have been asked back next year. As I have lots of experience in this field I was a team leader & it was flat out. My lovely George was fantastic at keeping the peace & just talking & listening to people. We did early morning breakfast shifts until lunch went home had a rest then back in the afternoon until midnight. I can honestly say it was a wonderful 5 days & we are thrilled to be able to help this charity. Everything is donated the church hall all the clothes, bedding & all the food. Christmas day they had turkey with all the trimmings. On boxing day a paramedic, 2 hairdressers & a podiatrist all came in free of charge to give something. To George & I this is the true spirit of Christmas giving back to our community & we got so much fro it. So roll on 2015.
