The SABC, Telkom and the Nelson Mandela Centre of Memory have launched a phone-in service inviting members of the public to leave messages of support for Madiba in their home languages. SABC radio stations will remind listeners regularly about the numbers to call. Leave your well wishes or birthday message for Madiba - in less than a minute - using the numbers provided below. The SABC will broadcast some of the messages on its platforms, while all the messages will be archived by the Nelson Mandela Centre of Memory for posterity. Calls from Telkom landlines and mobile numbers will be free and standard rates apply for all other calls. - You may also leave your message of support for Madiba on our interactive map.
