The SAID principle states that you will adapt to what you do the most. Logically one might make the assumption that your exercises should replicate the reality you are training for. The question I propose is whether or not you are building on a structure that is compensating inefficiently already. Its easy to say that youre doing an exercise for x reason, but to think that the exercise is giving benefit is a whole other ball game. Heres an example of an exercise training me to use my reciprocating arm during a throw.
