The SC had then ordered the GOI to divulge the details of bank accounts held abroad in Liechtenstein. The court had said in no uncertain terms, disclose forthwith to the petitioner. Three years afterwards, today, the government is yet to disclose. The government has conveniently chosen to wait till the completion of investigation by the SIT. The SC has given time to the GOI till Tuesday, 29th April, 2014. The SC has also observed that their orders has been kept in cold storage by the secretaries. The court had rejected the centres petition seeking a review of the 4 July 2011 judgement. For the record, let it be stated here that the SC had not only rejected the petition to review but also took over the investigation by forming a multi-disciplinary Special Investigation Team (SIT) on black money and also the issue of tax evasion by Hassan Ali. bjp.org/en/media-resources/press-releases/press-smt-nirmala-sitharaman-on-supreme-court
