The SSL are after volunteers to help man the batting cage at the ‘SOUTHSEA SHOW’ on the Seafront Common this year. thesouthseashow.co.uk Your duties will be to primarily hand out SSL promotional & recruitment flyers to passers-by and to also perhaps give a little bit of coaching to those that are having a go in the cage itself. The ‘shifts’ will be as follows: SATURDAY 2nd AUG – 10.00am/2.00pm = VOLUNTEERS 1 & 2 SATURDAY 2nd AUG – 2.00pm/6.00pm = VOLUNTEERS 3 & 4 SUNDAY 3rd AUG – 10.00am/2.00pm = VOLUNTEERS 5 & 6 SUNDAY 3rd AUG – 2.00pm/6.00pm = VOLUNTEERS 7 & 8 You’re obviously welcome to stay for both shifts/all day if you’re happy to, but I thought it best to split it into two 4hr shifts just in case we couldn’t find enough volunteers able to commit to a whole day I need to submit the full names of our volunteers ASAP so that their passes can be allocated/issued in advance (I’m afraid it’s just one ‘free’ pass each) Therefore, please let me know if you’d like to help out and which particular shift you’d be willing & able to cover.
