The Sage Continues – I arrived at the Hadassah oncology clinic early, as always, partially in order to give the clinic plenty of time to order my special chemo. Today, however, the pharmacy set a new record in slowness – more than 4 hours for the chemo to arrive from downstairs. They just started the intravenous (1:35 pm), so I have about 1½ hours more for the treatment. I could really use a nap about now, but the first drip bag is steroids, so I’ll go back to work on American Cakes (almost finished with the current revisions, but would love to go through the manuscript one more).
