The Sagehens Volleyball team defended its home court today in convincing fashion with a 3-0 win over Redlands (25-19, 25-20, 25-21). The teams attack was exceptionally well balanced, with Allie Frappier tallying 10 kills, Kelli Derrah 8, Sarah Gamble and Kirea Mazzolini 7 and Ellen Yamasaki 6. The team also registered 10 service aces - three apiece from Jessica Finn and Michelle Schultz - which made us happy. We input the stats into a computer, and when theres an ace, you just have to type, say, VH6X (for a Finn service ace), instead of, for example. VH6D8A12D4A13COD4A12BE147 (and thats actually a relatively short point).
