The Salt Lake Tribune is reporting that much of the animosity between the BLM and Utah Sheriffs boils down to one man in particular, Dan Love, the BLM special agent in charge. Love has been called arrogant, dishonest, and a bully by numerous law enforcement officials. They say he has little regard for their authority, dodges all accountability for the actions of the BLM, and seemingly deliberately derails any attempts at cooperation between local law enforcement and the BLM.
