The Sanskrit word namaste is reserved for the salutation of one - TopicsExpress

The Sanskrit word namaste is reserved for the salutation of one soul to another, that is the greater part of the other where absolute peace and power reside. A truly effective therapist will simply and silently speak to that part of us and not collude with the story of not-good-enough or someone needing to be rescued, fixed or healed. His or her presence will, via limbic resonance, reflect that part of us to ourselves. There are a number of therapies which have this understanding at their core. One such modality with which I work with is Lomilomi Hawaiian bodywork. It is not just an incredibly blissful, nurturing and revitalising experience, but a powerful path of SELF-HEALING where the practitioners presence and touch simply reminds you of who you really are, well beyond your identities, illnesses and self-doubts. The other is Tigress Yoga, a powerful movement meditation specifically for womens physical, emotional and energetic bodies, also with the emphasis on empowerment through self-healing. I believe that Nicole Daenone touches on the same understanding in this clip:
