The Seniors have blessed us with some incredible gifts in recognition of their friend Conor, who we all wish were still here with us to walk across that field tonight to graduate. We were so moved by your thoughtfulness in including us at the Baccalaureate. There were many things I wanted to say, but words got caught in my throat along with the tears. Please know that we care about you and wish you all the best life has to offer- you already know you have the strength to deal with the bad when it happens. Learning to live with the pain of grief is a lesson that has a long, jagged path with a heavy burden; learning that we will laugh again when a person you care about is gone, is a testament to our ability to heal. This is not a lesson that is learned alone, but one that is learned with the love and support of friends and family. Thank you for being part of that lesson for us.
