The Shining (6/10) Director : Stanley Kubrick Star Cast : Jack Nicholson, Shelley Duvall, Danny Lloyd The shining, is a thriller movie, in which a writer named Jack Torrance played by Jack Nicholson, takes up caretaker job at a hotel located on a mountain. The hotel is locked during winter due to bad weather. No one would be willing to take up the job because the earlier caretaker had committed suicide after murdering his wife and daughters and their souls are still wondering around the hotel. Eventually John get possessed by the evils and his son starts to see horrific events of the past. John later tries to murder his wife and son but his attempts fail and they both escape from the hotel. The movie is a one time watch. Jack Nicholson is a great actor and the same has been proved in this movie.
