The Springfield Preservation Trust presents the Voices From the Grave tour, this coming Sunday, October 19th at Oak Grove Cemetery! Join the Trust for this docent-led tour that will feature costumed interpreters who will talk about the lives of some of the prominent “residents” of this historic Bay Street cemetery in Springfield. This years featured residents include Henrietta “Seuss” Geisel, Theodore “Dr. Seuss” Geisel’s mother and Col. Stanhope Blunt, commandant at the Springfield Armory. Last years tour was very popular, so be sure to buy your tickets in advance to get the best time slots - you can buy them online or at Flowers, Flowers on Sumner Avenue. The event runs 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, and the 3 PM tour is already SOLD OUT, so grab your tickets now for one of the other time slots!
