The State influences all of our lives in a myriad of ways. That fact is reflected in the immense diversity of libertarianism. People across races, nationalities, classes and faiths have come to the conclusion that the State is unnecessary at best and harmful at worst. Dividing those people based on characteristics such as imaginary lines, melanin or who they love, is extremely advantageous to those who seek to divide us and to rule over us. Thats why they take every opportunity to attempt to frame liberty as an ideal of the privileged, of those out of touch with humanity. Nothing could be further from the truth. Statists are partially correct in saying that organizing libertarians is much like herding cats but in doing so they forget that what unifies us is our desire to not be herded.
