The Strength of my Life Ps 27:1 The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? God is our strength. We can do all things through Christ that strengthens us. Believers must rely on the strength of the Lord for a victorious Christian life. Everything else we tend to rely upon has failed us. Friends sometimes are helpless to come to our aid. Some even forsake us. Money often seems to take wings and fly away. The institutions of this world are facing their own challenges. Jobs can come to an abrupt end. Our trust must be in the Lord. God promises to be our present help in the time of trouble. He is more than our source of strength. He is our strength. Our Lord strengthens us to overcome the challenges of life. Through Christ we are more that conquerors. The Lord is the strength of our lives. If you ever encounter feelings of weakness and despair, remember, the Lord is the strength of your life. You are not depending on your own strength. You are trusting in Gods strength. Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Prayer Focus: Thank you Lord for being my strength. I know I can do all things because you strengthen me. Verse of the Day: Ps 28:7 The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him. Living the Word Today: When you have come to the limits of your strength, trust in Gods strength. Draw strength from the Greater One within.
