The Tall Blacks of New Zealand and their Haka Dance. Tall Blacks Called that because they were all-black unis. The nations rugby team are called the All Blacks. I guess Tall Blacks is a play off of that. In either case, their Haka is awesome. And its from or modeled after (not sure exactly) traditional Maori Hakas. The Maori are the first peoples of New Zealand. They do it before each match. On Georgia Southerns Rugby team we did a haka before each match as well. Why? I have no idea. For the Tall Blacks this has cultural memory and I am always moved by it.
