The Team BFH Hall of Fame following the twentieth match of the 2013-2014 season of darts in the Ledbury Town and District Darts League, played at home against the Oak Tree side on 19/03/14. Todd Panter again maintains his lead in the number of individual games won, but both Johnny Cash and Justin Baker still seem intent on sharing the silver ‘most legs won’ cup between them at the end of the season as they continue to stand shoulder to shoulder in terms of the number of individual legs won, with 42 leg victories apiece. Matt Morris, on his triumphant return to the team this week after a nine week break, took the opportunity to further improve on his leading game and leg win ratios by winning both of his games, while J. Baker, taking full advantage of James D Crews rock concert-related absence this week, moves a clear three tons ahead of his arch rival as he now needs just two more scores of a hundred or more to hit an extremely impressive total of forty with just four matches left to play this season. There was nothing again this week to equal T. Panter’s infamous fourth ever official BFH 180 scored in a singles game against J. Loveridge’s Three-in-a-Bed side four weeks ago, or indeed to trouble the record 112 away and 111 game shots scored by J. Baker and J. Crews at home against The Retreat and Black Dog A sides earlier on in the season respectively, while J. Baker also now stands just one short of hitting a hugely impressive total of 160 scores of between 60 and 99 this season. Vice Captain Steve John Crews retains his hold over the single digit score and bag of nails penalty categories, even if the Captain did overtake J. Crews to reclaim second place in the sub-ten stakes with 14 of these rather less desirable scores having been suffered, and Chris Ponter also now stands as the only BFH player to have taken four tangos with Len Goodman so far this season as T. Panter, J. Baker and M. Morris remain the only three regular players yet to take to the dance floor with the Strictly Come Dancing judge. The Captain also overtook J. Crews to claim back second place in the team’s egg and chips contest this week, having gorged upon (fittingly) 26 portions of BFH’s favourite darting food so far this season, although at eight servings still behind J. Baker’s gluttonous total, Bake-a-Cake Baker still has a lot of dieting to do if he is to avoid ending the Captain’s three-season reign over all things egg and chips... ;-)
