The Third Person The first person... That consummate stickler, with hope, Hoping for excellence... It should be well within our scope. Three glasses, you did say A fork, knife, and spoon we need, Much to your displeasure, and dismay, And not many to willfully heed. The second person... Three decades of service, Those years are three times ten, Managing that false god of rum, And beautifully portraying a meal, fortified with cayenne. Foreshadowing the things to come. The third person... On the third sphere from our sun, Our lives did intersect for two years and one. In gratitude, the two hands that shook just one, Shall be remembered by us and the Son.
