The Top Two Spiritual Disciplines When I drive my car on short trips around Florida, I often listen to my favorite radio station for as long as I can. But once I’m out of range, the voices start to fade until I lose the signal. But just because I’ve put myself out of range doesn’t mean the radio station quits broadcasting. In our work with men, two disciplines tower over the others in terms of keeping men in range of His voice. First, when a man starts reading the Bible for himself every day, or almost everyday. Second, when he gets into a small group to study the Bible with others. Its just easier to hear from God when we pursue Him together with a few people who all want the same thing.
